Antique quilt. Blue and white "Baskets. Late-19th-Century. Pieced with applique handles.
Sixty-four "Baskets" form a graphic grid, framed with blue calico strips separated by a plain white band. Hand quilted in "follow-the -pattern" and "parallel lines" patterns. Probably New York State origin.
